Dining
Sharing meals together not only nourishes your body, but your soul. It is an important social outlet that creates connected and meaningful experiences for residents at Maplewood Village. Your personal tastes are taken into consideration as a variety of healthy, flavorful meals are offered. There is no need to worry about the food, there are plenty of choices.
From fresh produce to apple pie, our food is not boring. We allow our tenants to design the monthly menu and we use fresh locally sourced, in-season food. Your food preferences are noted and special diets and other restrictions (like allergies to nuts) are accommodated. We care about you and want you to enjoy what you eat. If you don’t like Brussel sprouts, we won’t make you eat them. If you have a favorite dish, we will try your recipe.
Our dining experience goes beyond nutrition. Maplewood Village’s food helps stimulate memories. A smell, taste or touch will transport you back to grandma’s kitchen. We often hear how our chicken tastes like the ones mom used to make for Sunday dinner or how shucking corn with their granddad was a time where life’s most valuable lessons were learned. Eating favorite dishes, surrounded by friends, creates a truly enjoyable dining experience.
